Well the walk in woods was abandoned as the weather was miserable and hubby did not fancy walking in the rain but said if I wanted to he would, I want to take photos for a sketchbook I want to create ...The Seasons.
Made up my menu plan and went shopping at Sainsburys then had a wonderful chat over coffee at Costa and I know I shouldn't but enjoyed biscuits too.
We looked in B&Q for tiles for the downstairs toilet but nothing so we stopped off at Crayford and looked in Topps Tiles and found some nice ones there small mosaics so we will order those int eh week. The toilet is been delivered tomorrow and hubby and Rags my brother is going to fit it. That is the only original thing that is left from went we brought the house and now we have finally got round to replacing it.....I'm so happy.
Went over to mother-in-laws had an enjoyable time chatting, borrowed the Tai Chi DVD to do this week to see if I like it before I buy the DVD. It looked really good and enjoyable when I watched it, i just need to make the me time each day!!
Went we got back I cut out First Annabell dresses x12 Annabell dresses x3 and Baby Born dress x1 ready to make up tomorrow. Also I trimmed all the threads from the batch I made up last week.
All three of my itmes sold on Ebay todays and aslo had a shop order for three outfits too.

A very enjoyable day.
Hubby working from home today so I get a nice lie in. I start my day by cleaning the bathroom, then move on to general tidying of the house. Not long before I'm in my room sewing away finishing the dolly trousers that I started making up yesterday.
So annoyed the other day my Yahoo account has been closed as I've not logged on for so long as I only really used the account for sewing groups but I had so much useful info stored there too such as good fabric markets in London. I've opened up another Yahoo account but now I'm trying to find the group, I have come across some good groups that I'm going to join anyway but still hunting the original group that I was a member of.
Had a lovely evening with hubby at Bluewater, we enjoyed Burger King used a voucher buy one get one free, then we went for coffee at Krispy Creme but there was a party going on so we had a take away coffee and cinnamon doughnut. We then went shopping brought some CD'S and and book. There are so many reduction at the moment virtually every window you look in there is 70% discount even 75%. Beaverbrooks even had very good reduction but could not manage to tempt hubby even though I pointed out a number of items LOL. There was fantastic reductions to be had if you wanted.

Don't start the day with doubts and fears
Don't start the day with doubts and fears,
For where they live, faith disappears,
Love won't grow in a gloomy heart,
Where sorrows live and tear drops start.
Don't give up before you've begun,
You still have time to get things done.
Don't waste the time God's given you,
Let Him be praised in all you do.
Don't be a quitter, you're not alone,
We all must crawl before we're grown.
There are no rainbows without rain,
There are no victories without pain.
Don't let God down and run away,
You can't go back to yesterday.
Don't start the day with doubts & fears,
For where God lives, faith reappears.
Life goes on.

Eltham is the place....
Yet another cheap store opened in Eltham 99p store now occupies the old Woolworths store. the pound shop that used to be really busy was so quite and the Poundland was just a little busy so these other stores will certainly notice a different all competing.
So if you want £1 stores or a mobile phone Eltham is the place!!
Had a lovely tasty lunch at mums cottage pie.
Cut out four pieces of fabric t-shirts ready to sew / embroider. Everybody thinks I'm crazy thinking I will sew up all the fabric before March. Mum asked what year well I said oh you have noticed I did not mention a year LOL - But I am determined and will give it my best to try and achieve my challenge - well I'm certainly having fun and enjoying the task along the way !!!
Ebay is doing well and I'm pleased with the comments and emails I'm receiving it certainly boosts my confidence and gives to the determination to carry on sewing!
Bex is at a sleepover tonight. Mills is looking forward to tomorrow as we are off to Ikea, she wants a new pillow. I did up the menu plan tonight and will go to Tesco while over at Lakeside.
A really nice wonderful and very enjoyable day.

Sewing - Fabrics everywhere
I was busy sewing today. Letting the embroidery machine whizz away. I cut out a lot of outfits - dresses, pants headbands and skirts ready to sew tomorrow- I am trying my hardest to reduce my fabric stash BUT only to build it up again in March!!!
I posted Ebay items.
This evening treated hubby and Mills to Ed's Diner Bluewater - Wow the credit crunch is hitting hard shops are closing all over the place The Works, Whittards, Zavvi had big discount notices in its windows, along with other stores. There were also quite a few shops that had closed down as well. I treated myself to 3 more Swinkys- they were a barfain as it was 2 for £15 I was about to walk away and she said you can have 3 for £15 so I did!!
It was a lovely day and I achieved a lot Mills thinks I will never clear my stash and she is probably right but I can at least try!!

Usual Saturday.
A wonderful day spent at mum's Bex stayed at home to do homework, Mills was a a bad mood this morning - (training to be a teenager!!!)
Collected dry cleaning two hubby's suits and my Karen Milan dress which I absolutely adore. Took the girls shoes to the cobblers to be heeled Mills shoes were really worn down but he made an excellent job so hopefully now they will last the rest of the school year!
It was really cold day today a light covering my snow was covering the ground.
So far this year the bad side is 1. have lost my ring 2. Door bell needs replacing and 3. tried several time to book cheap rooms at travel lodge but hubby seems to be on another planet?? as nothing has gone ahead.
with 3. How strange when I come back form up the High street hubby mentions Mills would like to go to Bath and has found the travel lodge at £49 a night so £300 for three nights which seems absolute madness especially as I tried when they were £9 but he didn't make any moves then to book?? At the moment I'm losing my patience as when I mentioned it his response was well redundentcy but £300 versa £54 doesn't seem to make sense to me???
Tried making more progress with knitting the handle to finish my bag, but it was not goingwell so I started a new project and go back to the handle next week and hopefully finish the bag.

Surprise for hubby
Up early today as hubby was working in Chersty today. I finished knitting all the pieces for the little teddy this morning before waking the girls. It was only the leg piece.
Today I was busy with cleaning, in the kitchen rearranging to make space for the new Tassimo and cleaning out the food cupboards. The hallway is now clear as I moved the Ebay stuff and the fabrics back to my room which i really hope to clear a lot before March, well that's my aim and plan. The landing is now clear as i moved things up to the loft. And I hoovered top to bottom - still have not come across my ring so I think i have been unlucky and lost it outside. I thought I heard it go up the hoover I checked but it was ONLY a small watch battery :( , but I'm still hoping.

Good and Bad
Made good progress today. I cleared both my wardrobes and now they look nice and tidy and organised.
The Hate Plastic Love Knit Bag is coming along nicely, all I have left to do is the handle which I'm a 1/4 the way already. Its looking good and I'm pleased with as its my first time knitting from a chart.
The Bad part of the day was that when I was in Costa having coffeee with huby I noticed my ring missing that he brought me for Christmas, I'm hoping I will find it in the house but if someone else haas found it I just hope it will bring them as much pleasure and happiness when wearing it as it did me. Hubby knows and he believes I will find it at home but if not will replace it for me nexr month .
It was really foggy early afetrnoon whgen driving down to collect Mills from school.

Knitting & Sewing
Finished Bex jeans today and few house work chores washing and ironing which is just a vicous circle and never ending............as soon as I'm on top of it another load appears!
Other alterations I id was shorten my coat sleeves and take the beads off some jeans that I'm now going to use as old tat for doing decorating and gardening. I'm forever recycling!
Made progress on the unfinished dolls clothes that I have this make take me until the end of January to finish this task as there are quite a lot, when I have cleared all these the room will start looking a lot clearer as it is 3 boxes in front of my bookcase.
And now making more progress on the Hate Plastic Love Knit bag which has been on the needles for quite a while now and it is one of the itms on my 101 list to finish. Also been knitting on another project too.
Loving the Yankee Candle that arrived yesterday it gives the house such a wonderful aroma.

Knitting
It was a lovely bright sunny day but cold outside but very nice and cosy inside sitting knitting and listening to Podcasts.
Shorten 3 pairs of jeans for Bex today.
Wrote up 3 items for Ebay and hubby listed them for me, I just hope they will at least sell as it brings it a nice little pocket money for me, and after all my spending with my new wardrobe of clothes, I'm feeling a little broke :(
Jean phoned me toady and is coming over Saturday as she has some trousers to be shortened. Thats a start to the New Year hopefully other customers will ring..... its often the way ALL or nothing it generally comes in batches, well I'm hoping anyway. But I do have a lot of new ideas to make items to sell at 'school' fairs, so I can be getting on with these while the alterations are quite as I like been busy, I hate sitting doing nothing.

Alterations.....
Toady I spent most of the day working through all the alterations- shortening trousers, sleeves, taking in sleeves and taking the ties of a top. I still have more to do as Bex jeans need shortening and hubby's trousers need shortening too so this week I will certainly be busy as in my plans as well is
- to do all the kitchen cupboards and rearrange
- work through some of the dolls outfits I have already started and list on Ebay.
- general tidy through the whole house.
- get my sewing workroom organised
- start a new knitting project

Sorting Out / Relaxing
A lazy start to the day, made coffee at 9am for hubby and I and took it back to bed and sat reading in bed for an hour before getting up.
Made a menu plan and shopping list and went food shopping at Sainsbury's £71.86. I included super speed foods so hopefully I will lose another couple of pounds this week, oh I certainly will be happy if I do..... so I'm going to give it my all and do Yoga too as well as the Wii fit.
Went over to mum-in-laws for a hour or so, when we came back I got on with sorting out my clothes I started with all the tops, so have completed that task only the cupboards left to do now. I was quite surprised I had some of my size 8 tops still in the drawers and could not quite believe that I was that slim but i do much prefer my size 12 figure just need to tone up!! I think I was too slim there was hardly any thing of me at 7st9lbs.

No 22- Tidy Teds finished - 101
The usual Saturday as we refer to it...
We go over to Eltham to spend the morning then mum and dad come over to us for tea.
Mum and I (sometimes Mills and very occasionally Bex) take a walk up the high street this time finally remembered hubby's suits to take to the dry cleaners as well my dress. High street doesn't seem quite the same now Woolworth's has closed down. We got out lottery tickets but no luck. I brought hubby The Times that he likes to read on Saturday the rest of the week he reads it online.
Mum showed me a brochure with all the details and excursions that are available, it looks really nice and reads absolutely amazing they are certainly going to have a fabulous time- well I really hope so and I hope they take tons of photos to show. The cruise is to celebrate dad 70th - he has always wanted to go on a cruise - so I wish them a fabulous amazing holiday of a lifetime experience.
Yet another item complteled fro my 101 list and the girls were delighted with their little teds.

Hubby is working in Chersty today so an early start to my day up at 5.45 to drop him at the station. I came back loaded in more washing and ironed what dried last night. Charged all the batteries for my camera and generally tidied up before waking Mills at 9.50am (which she was annoyed slightly as that was too EARLY!! But got up anyway) ready to go on her shopping trip for a hat at Bluewater. I brought a a pair of trousers Per Una reduced to £12 instead of £35.Arrived back home at 11.30 made Bex lunch and a salad for myself.
In the afternoon we all went to Crayford and Bex found both Sims pack she wanted (i was treating her to one) but unfortunately one was out of stock, we went to Bexleyhealth but no luck so will order it on the net tonight. While in Crayford I went into Next while the girls were in Game waiting to pay and yet more clothes - 3 tops and a pair of trousers. Bex stopped me looking in M&S Bexleyheath she said I would need another wardrobe!!Hubby and I watched a film -(Friday night film night on my 101 list) night Bridge to Terabithia , it is as it states Charming, Magical and certainly Moving as it brought tears to my eyes.
A very enjoyable day, a good start to the New Year.
