Born to Shop!

Lakeside shopping today with ~Bex, she wanted to get items for her bedroom. After dropping Mills off went back home for a few minutes making sure I have all the measurements and shopping lists.
First stop Tesco to get the groceries in for the week, not only did I get groceries but a beautiful kingsize quilt cover for £12.93 (bargain less than half price) and also some towels for the bathroom.

Finished at Tesco just in time for Ikea opening which is where Bex wanted to shop for boxes, and fabric - she wants me to make a new cover for her chair so it matches her new bedroom and also I wanted to replace a bowl that I broke. Next onto Paul Simon for net and curtains managed to get the net but no ready made curtains, Off to Asda living no luck there, Matalan no luck there ~ I am now beginning to think curtains are going out of fashion, so now we go to Lakeside shopping centre - House of Fraser, Debenhams (Some but very expensive and really not quite wide enough), Bhs, and finally we try Primark where i get a pair but I will have to make them into curtains as they are far to long but the correct width and also I want to put curtain tape on the top instead of the metal rings, also brought sheets and pillow cases so Bex is very happy her room is nearly finished. Arrived back home at 1:30 and made lunch before continuing with the spring cleaning.

I start spring cleaning the lounge well nearly got it all done before going to bed. All the dusting done, everything hoovered just the floor to polish and the windows to clean net to wash.

Started writing up items to list on Ebay.

Nice that it is getting closer to hubby coming home, still keeping myself very busy, the morning seemed to go quick as i was out and about with Bex and what made the day really nice hubby rang me and we chatted on Skype throughout the evening~ just before dinner then again after dinner and early evening it really makes a difference. I'm really looking forward to him coming home, I've missed him loads.
