Shopping London

Wake early yet again I'm wide awake at 5:30am. Wow bargain just been to Amazon and brought the Remington wet to straight hair straighteners for £28.99 - I had them in my wish list the other day I looked and they were £59.99.

Today we caught the 8:55 train from Eltham to Charing Cross, walked up to Regent street via Leicester Square where there was free West End entertainment but it did not interest the girls, if hubby and I went up I'm sure we would have spent quite a bit of time there, find a cafe and enjoy the music, they had screens so you could see a far amount.

Well we stopped for coffee, bex had a bacon roll mills tropica in Mac'Donalds as it was only 9:35 and wanted to walk up Carnaby Street when the shops were open not sure if they opened before 10am. We walked the whole of Oxford Street - where the lovely smell of waffles tempted Mills, so Mills enjoyed a choc waffle. Enjoyed Selfridges where I brought a signed Sophie Dahl cookbook and a little present for hubby too. We enjoyed 'coffee' in debenhams Mills likes it in there. Bex got her best friend a beautiful bracelet from Debenhams- Mills remembered Christmas time when we were up London about a lady who was struggling walking in high heels :) I could remember it slightly but when we went in Debenhams Mills said it was in here then it came back quite clearly and it was funny. Then we went to Convent Garden ( walking through Leisceter square where Jersey boys was on stage), so enjoyed watching one song as Bex wanted to carry on not her sort of entertainment really.

We had a lovely time shopping Bex managed to get a lovely bracelet for her friend and also the clock she wanted --which really goes with her new room and its quite cool really! ! She got it from Octopus and a monkey pops out on the hour. Lucky for Bex it is light sens0red so it will not go off at night. These are pics of hubby's day as he managed to talk them into having a relaxing day! Missing him loads! And counting down the days. I hope he got me something from the gold market as its looks gorgeous, or perhaps he'll get a chance at the airport - well I can hope.

In the evening once again I'm shopping on Amazon this time a Leon cookbook that Mills spotted

in Selfridges but it was full price there and I managed to get it from Amazon for £13 a saving of £7.

I just love Leon food. The restaurant chain opened one at Bluewater recently and I been in there

quite a few times!! In fact I'm thinking of going there Thursday for Breakfast.
